Rob Mason
Rob Mason

I acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which I live, move, and serve, the Whadjuk Nyoongar people and pay my respects to their elders past, present, and emerging.

Meet Rob

WELCOME

I’m a mental health advocate, expressing my passion and insight through supervision, mentoring, speaking, and writing.

As a former church pastor and chaplain for over thirty years, I have had the privilege of walking alongside thousands of people struggling with their emotional and spiritual wellbeing.

Supervision

Professional supervision is a transformative learning experience essential for caring professions, such as church leaders, chaplains, healthcare and social workers.‡

Five benefits of supervision:

  1. Enables you to reflect openly and courageously on yourself and your work.

  2. Enhances a safe and supportive place to discern your possible vulnerabilities, biases and blind spots.

  3. Ensures you and your workplace sustain healthy, moral and ethical boundaries.

  4. Explore the wisdom and skills you need to navigate the challenges of your work better.

  5. Embrace fresh perspectives about your soul and role.

Supervision is a base camp where batteries are recharged.

Mentoring

Mentoring is a relational and conversational journey into deeper awareness and profound transformation.

Mentoring focuses on who you are rather than what you do.

Through our mentoring partnership, I will:

  1. Listen with empathy and discernment.
  2. Ask questions to increase self-awareness and discern the next steps.
  3. Offer you insights from my experience and extensive research.
  4. Provide support and encouragement.
